Continous sprial id cladding system
Precision orbital welding for internal cladding and complex pipe geometries.
The I Head from Liburdi Dimetrics is a high-precision welding head designed for continuous spiral internal diameter (ID) cladding. Powered by advanced smart motor technology, it delivers synchronized motion and exceptional control for high-quality welds across pipe ranges from 0.7″ to 24.8″ OD.
Its Flex Torch design enables ID and OD welding as well as nozzle wall buttering, making the system highly adaptable for demanding industrial cladding applications.
The I Head features precision motion control, utilizing smart technology to coordinator the rotary and axial movements to deliver highly accurate, repeatable weld results with a wide feed rate range. The infinite rotary motion allows the torch to produce uninterrupted spiral welds, improving weld quality and productivity.
Capable of ID, OD, and axial welding options, the I Head also features a wire spool that rotates with the torch, making sure the wire feeding stays stable and consistent throughout the welding process. It’s also capable of rotary, linear, and complex weld paths, making it suitable for specialized internal cladding tasks.
The I Head is designed for demanding environments such as: pipe internal cladding, nozzle wall buttering, corrosion-resistant overlay, high-integrity weld repair, pressure vessel fabrication, and oil and gas piping systems.

Standard Features:
