Return and Cancellation policy
Thank you for being an MIT customer. We want you to be happy with your purchase, however, we understand sometimes you may need to make an exchange or return.
Please review and test your product within 14 days of receipt. If you discover any defects, missing pieces, or performance concerns, contact us immediately to exchange, we may require images of damaged or incorrect items before a return is authorized.
Many items may be returned or exchanged within 14 days of receipt for a refund of the purchase price, under the following guidelines:
- All returns or exchanges must first be approved, please contact MIT at (417) 485-4575 for a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA).
- We are unable to provide a refund or exchange for custom manufactured equipment, accessories, or consumables or items that are not stocked. None stocked item numbers are identified with “-NS” at the end.
- All return or exchanges must be received at MIT within 10 days of RMA issuance.
- If a return is needed and, products must be sent unused and in original packaging with all original materials.
- Credit Memos will be issued within 5 business days of arrival at MIT. It is the responsibility of the customer to request a refund check or to apply the credit on a payment. Credits are not automatically applied.
- Shipping charges will not be refunded. If shipping was discounted, that discount will be deducted from the refund.
- The customer is responsible for the cost of shipping the item back to MIT, as well as damages incurred in return shipping. Please ensure items are securely packaged for a successful return. Power supplies and open-frame weld heads must be returned via freight.
canceling orders
Once an item has shipped it cannot be canceled. If you refuse an order upon delivery, it is subject to our standard return policy and any additional shipping charges incurred will be deducted from the refund amount. To request a cancellation, please call us at (417) 485-4575.
Shipping costs
All shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer. Please review Quotes to ensure the shipping address is correct. Packages returned to us due to incorrect shipping information supplied by the customer will incur additional shipping charges.
