Open carriage-type welding head
The POLYCAR 60-2 welding head is engineered to offer maximum flexibility and precision, featuring minimal radial and axial clearance to ensure optimal accessibility even in confined environments. Its modular design supports both orbital TIG Cold Wire and Hot Wire welding, delivering exceptional performance on medium to heavy wall tube and pipe applications.
The system completes multi-pass welds with reliable repeatability while maintaining consistent weld quality through closed-loop speed regulation. High-duty-cycle industrial use is supported by heat-resistant materials and an efficient closed-loop water-cooling system.
Additional capabilities, such as a tiltable torch for socket welding, advanced ceramic gas-lens protection, and integrated AVC and OSC controls, enable the POLYCAR 60-2 to excel in demanding workshop or on-site conditions and achieve superior productivity—especially when combined with Narrow Gap welding configurations.
