The Polysoude P6 Series is a next-generation Mobile Smart Welding Station designed specifically for high-precision orbital TIG welding using either cold-wire or hot-wire processes. Designed to be ergonomic and user-friendly, the P6 Series incorporates a highly intuitive operating experience centered around a wireless 10.4-inch touchscreen equipped with multilingual software. Operators can navigate welding programs, configurations, and live monitoring with ease thanks to the responsive graphical user interface.
The system automatically recognizes connected Polysoude welding heads, ensuring seamless setup and operation. Additionally, the Smart Welding Station supports standard peripheral equipment such as barcode readers, oxygen meters, and printers, offering a convenient plug-and-play experience that simplifies workflow on the shop floor.
Built for modern connected manufacturing, the P6 Series includes full Industry 4.0 compatibility with LAN and WLAN options, allowing integration into plant networks via both Ethernet and WiFi. With four USB ports, operators can easily back up welding programs, transfer data, and archive welding records directly from the machine. The inclusion of an onboard OPC-UA server enables secure data transfer to production software, remote start command capability, and real-time monitoring of welding parameters. This makes the P6 a powerful component in any connected, automated, or data-driven welding environment.
The P6 Series offers remarkable welding power, with models available in either a 300 A or 520 A configuration to meet a wide range of welding demands. It supports Cold Wire and Hot Wire TIG processes depending on the model. Performance is reinforced through closed-loop regulation systems that precisely manage wire feed speed, rotating motion of the torch, Arc Voltage Control (AVC), and Torch Oscillation Control (OSC). These features ensure consistent weld quality, high-precision control, and repeatability across a wide variety of applications.
