Each Model 9CT weld head is equipped with a removable cassette module which acts as a fixturing device and allows the operator to pre-position the tubes or fittings to be welded, check for proper fit-up, and then insert the head into the cassette and complete the weld.

Cassette modules for the 9CT-750 or 9CT-1500 are capable of fixturing a wide range of tube or pipe sizes by simply installing various sized clamp inserts.

The cassette modules may be used in-place or mounted on a bench for high-production welding. In addition, multiple cassettes may be used with one weld head, minimizing set-up time and allowing the operator to fit-up multiple joints prior to welding. To verify fit-up, all cassettes feature a window to provide 360 degree visual access to the weld joint.
